Improvisational multi-genre artist Bruce Hornsby performed live at Knuckleheads Saloon in the East Bottoms of Kansas City, MO on May 22, 2016 with his band The Noisemakers in support of the upcoming album “Rehab Reunion” (2016). Although renowned for his incomparable piano playing, the new record features Hornsby only strumming the strings of a dulcimer as seen in a few of the photos. The six-man group inspired the crowd with a 2-hour set showcasing a wide array of instruments, including a violin and even a frottoir. It was an all-out jam session and sentimental evening that the crowd felt some sort of exclusivity in witnessing. Fans danced up against the stage with smiles ear-to-ear as almost a reflection of the band members themselves who seemed to have the time of their life as they treated everyone to a bit of their new tunes, as well as those classics that Hornsby produced with The Range—a chance for him to dazzle us on the ivories.
